Japanese or Bilingual Teachers Assigned to You to Ensure Your Level Improvement!
At ACE, you can choose between Japanese and bilingual teachers according to your current Japanese level and learning objectives.
ACE's Japanese language instructors are either Japanese or bilingual, who are fluent in both Japanese and foreign languages, and will teach you effectively using both Japanese and foreign languages.
Beginners and introductory level learners can start with a bilingual instructor.
Beginning Japanese language learners will not make much progress if they suddenly take lessons entirely in Japanese with a Japanese instructor.
This is because they cannot yet fully understand the Japanese spoken by the Japanese instructor.
Also, it is very difficult to achieve native-like pronunciation and speech from the very beginning.
A bilingual instructor who is familiar with the weak points and stumbling blocks of Japanese learners will be able to give the students the right advice and help them to scratch their itch.
When you have reached a certain level of proficiency, you can easily switch to a Japanese instructor on a monthly basis.
Of course, if you already have a certain level of confidence in your ability to communicate in Japanese, or if you really want to take lessons with a Japanese instructor, you can take lessons with a Japanese instructor from the beginning.
The head office advises Japanese instructors on appropriate teaching materials and teaching methods so that they can be more effective in teaching beginners, Japanese language students.
Another important point for effective progress is that ACE has a dedicated teacher system.
This is because the dedicated teacher system allows the teacher to accurately assess the student's weak points and continuously reinforce them.
Providing the most effective materials and lesson content for each student
At ACE, we create individualized Japanese language programs based on a thorough understanding of each student's needs and Japanese language level.
We then provide lessons with the most effective teaching materials, content and methods, and the most appropriate teachers for each student.
You can choose from the following courses to find the lesson content that best suits your needs.
ACE provides effective instruction with well-written textbooks.
Most online language schools do not use any textbooks at all or recommend a few common textbooks under the title of "Practical Free Talk.
This is not an effective way to improve your language skills.
Only those at the semi-intermediate level and above can improve their skills through Free Talk.
It is important for beginner and elementary level students to systematically study grammar, syntax, vocabulary, and clichés that are essential for conversational Japanese using a solid textbook first.
This may seem like a long way around, but it is an effective shortcut that you must take in order to enjoy speaking Japanese freely with native speakers.
*For those who can already speak Japanese to some extent, free talk lessons without textbooks are also available upon request.
Japanese for Elementary School Pupils
During childhood (while still in elementary school), rather than learning many words from written information, students should train their ears to accurately hear Japanese sounds. This is because the younger the child is, the less developed his/her ear is, and the easier it is to train an ear that can listen to Japanese sounds as a foreign language. While vocabulary and grammar can be developed at a certain age, this is not the case with the ear. It is very important to train the ear thoroughly during childhood in order for the child to be able to hear Japanese sounds accurately and pronounce them as close as possible to the Japanese in the future. ACE Japanese language tutors actively use Japanese songs, colorful cards, and CDs to maximize visual input from the eyes and audio input from the ears in teaching elementary school students. |

Junior High & High School Students
The teacher and students study while looking at the same textbook, so students can acquire conversational Japanese skills without any difficulty. Students learn not only spoken Japanese, but also workbooks that enable them to read and write Japanese sentences. Students can sing Japanese songs with the teacher on the accompanying CD, play Japanese games, and have fun while developing their Japanese conversation skills. The goal for junior/senior high school students is to be able to communicate freely in Japanese with their teachers about school events and topics of interest. For junior high school students, we teach them to understand and interpret Japanese sentences that they have listened to in listening instruction and read in reading instruction as they are in Japanese, without using their native language. This course can also be used as a supplement to school lessons or as preparation for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT). |
